Meet DJ & Leah
Hey there — we’re DJ and Leah! We have the joy of serving as the ministry leads here in Drumheller. We’re a couple of Bible-loving puzzle nerds who are passionate about helping people see the real Jesus — not the complicated or rule keeping version religion sometimes paints, but the One who’s full of love, grace, and truth.
We believe God’s message is simple and powerful, and we love creating a space where people can ask questions, grow in faith, and experience His goodness for themselves.
DJ has been involved in gospel work for over 11 years, and Leah brings her heart for people through her background in social work. Together, we love studying the Bible, hiking beautiful trails, making healthy food, and occasionally finishing a puzzle without losing any pieces (a rare victory!).
And honestly, we get it — the Bible can sometimes feel like a giant puzzle. Our hope is to help you put the pieces together so you can see the bigger picture of who God really is.
Meet Shem & Amanda
Shem and Amanda are a husband-and-wife team who love God and people in equal measure. Shem works as a nurse and serves as our head elder — steady, thoughtful, and always ready with a word of encouragement.
Amanda, our head deaconess, brings warmth and creativity to everything she touches. As a stay-at-home mom and community helper, she’s passionate about caring for others and finding simple ways to make people feel seen and loved.
Together, they help keep our church family grounded, joyful, and connected.
Meet Jesus
Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Jesus invites tired, worn-down people to come to Him—not with pressure or performance, but with honesty. He describes Himself as gentle and humble, offering rest for the soul instead of heavy religious burdens.
